Arrival: Contactless Check-In 3:00
Keys are available in the Key Box located in the breezeway to the ocean beginning at 3:00 P.M.

Departure: Check-out 10:00 a.m.
Please place your room key in the Key Box when you depart.

Occupancy Rates: All guest room rates are based on maximum number of guests per room as noted on the site. Rates are subject to a 9% Maine state lodging tax. 

Additional Guests:  
All guest must be registered prior to your arrival. Please observe the room maximum occupancy listed.

Deposit & Payment: Reservations are held with full payment for the entire balance of the reservation. All reservations require a valid credit card, regardless of method of payment. Incidentals: Incidentals will be charged to your credit card on file on the day of your departure.

Smoking Policy: Inn on the Harbor is a non-smoking/non e-cigarette property. A minimum $250 super-clean fee will be charged to the card on file to those not observing this policy.

Pet Policy: We welcome certified service animals as recognized by Titles ll and lll of the ADA. All rooms are also pet friendly. The following fees and policies apply to all visiting dogs: You are solely responsible for your dog’s behavior You must make sure your dog does not disturb other guests. Dogs are NEVER to be left unattended. Dogs must be domestically trained, housebroken and on leash at all times. Dogs are not permitted on the furniture, bed or sofa bed. Guests are expected to clean up and properly dispose of their dog’s waste. Pet owners accept full financial responsibility for damages, resulting repairs, replacement, and loss of revenue caused by their dog(s). All applicable fees will be charged to the credit card on file. A minimum $250 super-clean fee will be charged to the card on file to those not observing this policy.

Property & Room Damage: We understand accidents happen, however, guests are financially responsible for damages that you cause, your guests and/or pets cause to Inn on the Harbor property and rooms, and accept full responsibility for resulting repairs, replacement, and loss of revenue. All applicable fees will be charged to the credit card on file.

Cancellation Policy We realize that cancellations are often beyond your personal control, and for this reason we recommend purchasing Travel Insurance for peace of mind. Reservation Cancellation made 24 hours prior to arrival date, deposit refund is granted. Cancellation less than 24 hours of arrival date, guests are responsible for the full amount of the reservation.

Internet & Cell Phone Service: While visiting our beautiful island in Maine, please be aware there is very limited internet and limited to no cell phone service. Inn on the Harbor does have free internet and WiFi, when it is available to us. We encourage you to take advantage of this rare opportunity to “unplug”

Please Note for the 2022 Season: Due to the national employee shortage and ongoing international health crisis daily room service will be suspended and we will not be providing Grab & Go Breakfast.
