Arrival: Check-in 3:00 - 5:00 p.m.
After hours arrival, not to worry, check-in instructions are posted on the Cafe’ door when you arrive.

Departure: Check-out 11:00 a.m.
We are unable to accommodate Early Arrival and/or Late Departures.

Rates & Additional Guests: All guest room rates are based on single or double-occupancy. Rates are subject to a 9% Maine state lodging tax. We have a two bedroom suite and three guest rooms with a sleeper sofa that accommodate up to 4 guests. Additional guest rate are; age 2-11, $10 per night, age 12-adult, $20 per night. Prior notification of additional guest(s) is required, please observe the room maximum occupancy listed.

Reservation Deposit, Payment & Incidentals: Reservations are held with a one night deposit or 50% of your total reservation, whichever is greater, The remaining balance will be charged to your credit card on file 14 days prior to your arrival. All reservations require a valid credit card, regardless of method of payment. Incidentals will be charged to your credit card on file on the day of your departure.

Cancellation, Modification & No-Show Policy Due to the seasonal and intimate nature of our Inn, a cancelled reservation affects us significantly. We realize that cancellations are often beyond your personal control, and for this reason we recommend purchasing Travel Insurance for peace of mind. Please be aware cancellation includes modifications that shorten your original reservation and no-shows.
     Reservations for 1 to 7 days: Cancellations 15 days prior to arrival date: deposit will be refunded, minus a $25.00 credit card processing fee per room. Cancellations less than 14 days of arrival date: guests are responsible for the full amount of the reservation.
     Reservations for more than 7 days: Cancellations 30 days prior to arrival date: deposit will be refunded, minus a $25.00 credit card processing fee per room. Cancellations less than 29 days of arrival date: guests are responsible for the full amount of the reservation.
     Reservations for 5 or more rooms: Cancellations 30 days prior to arrival date: deposit will be refunded, minus a $25.00 credit card processing fee per room. Cancellations less than 29 days of arrival date: guests are responsible for the full amount of the reservation.

Alcohol (Maine State Law): Alcohol purchased from the Inn on the Harbor may be consumed anywhere on the property. Guests may consume their personal alcohol in their room or on their personal deck only. Guests are not permitted to consume personal alcohol in the Cafe’ or common decks areas. Personal alcohol is alcohol not purchased from Inn on the Harbor.

Smoking Policy: For the health and safety of our guests, Inn on the Harbor is a non-smoking/non e-cigarette property. A minimum $250 super-clean fee will be charged to the card on file to those not observing this policy.

Pet Policy: We welcome certified service animals as recognized by Titles ll and lll of the ADA. The Isaac Evans is specially designated for pet dogs, the following fees and policies apply:
    You are solely responsible for your dog’s behavior and must make sure your dog does not disturb other guests.
     Dogs must be domestically trained, housebroken and on leash at all times.
     Dogs are not permitted on the furniture, bed or sofa bed.
     Dogs are NEVER to be left unattended.
     Dogs are not permitted in the Cafe’ or on the deck areas, per state regulation
     Guests are expected to clean up and properly dispose of their dog’s waste.
There is a $25.00 pet fee per stay. Two small dogs (up to 22 pounds) or one medium dog (23-50 pounds) are permitted Guests who arrive with a dog and have not reserved our dog friendly room are financially responsible for their reservation. Pet owners accept full financial responsibility for damages, resulting repairs, replacement, and loss of revenue caused by their dog(s). All applicable fees will be charged to the credit card on file. A minimum $250 super-clean fee will be charged to the card on file to those not observing this policy.

Property & Room Damage: We understand accidents happen, however, guests are financially responsible for damages that you cause, your guests and/or pets cause to Inn on the Harbor property and rooms, and accept full responsibility for resulting repairs, replacement, and loss of revenue. All applicable fees will be charged to the credit card on file.

Privacy: We use every precaution to safeguard your personal information. Your credit card information is stored in our secure reservation system for no more than 30 days after your check-out.

Internet & Cell Phone Service: While visiting our beautiful island in Maine, please be aware there is very limited internet and no cell phone service. Inn on the Harbor does have free internet and wi-fi, when available to us. We encourage you to take advantage of this rare opportunity to “unplug”.
