Spend 3 nights at our lovely 1890 farm house on Mountain Glory Farm and enjoy a 5 hour moose safari. Although we do have moose on the farm, we have yet to train them to let us know when they plan to walk about. So taking a safari with Dale is a sure fire way to see these wonderful creatures in their wild native habitat plus other beautiful flora & fauna of the Great North Woods. How many moose might you see? Dale's "moose siting" calendar looks something like this: Mid-May & June average 12 to 30 moose. July averages 10 to 12. August averages 1 to 5. September & October are "iffy" months averaging 1 to 3. He offers a money back guarantee from mid-May through August. From mid-May through August tours depart at 4pm, returning at 9pm. During September and October tours leave at 5:30am (that’s right!) and return at 10:30am. The "safari" van is clean, non-smoking, air conditioned and seats 9. Tours leave rain or shine from Millinocket. There are "pottie" (and smoking) stops along the way. Private tours for 2 people are available at an additional $300.
